Even mythical creatures need their naps. Though we can only see two heads of the Hydra in this image, its slumber allowed us to venture close and grab this image before fleeing. Born of the fearsome pair Typhon and Echidna, the Hydra remains there still, guarding the entrance to the couch. #CatsOfMastodon

Two tabby cats, curled up together in a ying-yang shape. Both have their heads raised (awoken from slumber), eyes partially closed and still half-asleep.

Fiona had a very busy caturday and then today we had mandatory overtime for her - it’s the family holiday cookie baking day so she has to supervise 10 people baking in her kitchen.

Her face is so dark that her features are almost invisible, except for some green half-rings in her eyes.

Another tabby cat (Widget), this one on a gray couch. Her butt is facing the camera, but her head is turned torwards it. She has white mitten paws, but the rest of her is standard tabby.
