We don't allow cats on our dinner table, and they full well know that (their punishment when caught is corporal cuddling).
While I was out of the house just now and my wife asleep, the 13yo took this picture.

Even mythical creatures need their naps. Though we can only see two heads of the Hydra in this image, its slumber allowed us to venture close and grab this image before fleeing. Born of the fearsome pair Typhon and Echidna, the Hydra remains there still, guarding the entrance to the couch. #CatsOfMastodon

I don't want to jinx it, but I'm so excited: we're visiting a pair of kittens on Friday with a view to bringing them home next week! Brother and sister found with three others as strays when they were tiny. They're at a rehoming centre just now. Very much looking forward to Friday 😀🐾🐈 #catsofmastodon

This cat, I swear..
Every time I use this basket, after I empty out the clothes, Twig will hop in and demand a ride. So I have to carry him around the house until my arms get tired. #CatsOfMastodon #Caturday

It's a bit hard to read because my daughter's camera is pretty bad, but the section of the pantry that the cat is sleeping in is labeled "random". #CatsOfMastodon

A kitchen pantry with wood drawers. Estava trabalhando, com dor de cabeça. Ela piorou e ficou parecendo enxaqueca, do tipo que faz você se sentir mal. Aí deitei um pouco. Mas o gato começou a morder minha perna e me fez levantar pois ele queria ração mais fresca no pote dele. 🤡
