His personal tale of what he did when the Russians invaded. Very inspiring, sadly a bit short. It also cuts off before he actually joins the military. Dimko does give a great overview of the operation and reasoning behind his amazing charity. The signed edition was quite expensive, but well worth it as all proceeds go directly towards buying gear for the Ukrainian military.

The only sound policy would be a presumption AGAINST development.
That would mean the developers would have to demonstrate social need and pass a proper environmental assessment (not the data free rubbish by developer lobby consultancies that passes for that now).

UK charity law prevents charities from undertaking political activities. And yet some charities clearly cover political issues?
What happens is the "organisation" consists of a charity that operates according to the law (e.g. educational activities) , and a non-profit with a similar name that *just* undertakes the activities the charity cannot. And they just need to ensure that no income from charitable giving goes to the non-charity wing.
