I'm old enough to remember when (some) theoretical computer scientists looked down on other areas, asking whether topics like HCI were even "real computer science". (CSEd, I've said before, is the new HCI in that regard.) But sometimes, valleys are exalted and mountains made low.

I may or may not fit any specific labels, but like literally every person on the planet, I've got my own distinct neurotype that is different from everyone else's.

It's pretty funny that Trump wants to rename artificial intelligence. He doesn't know that for software developers, naming things is core to our being. There are only two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors.
