The other kind of crane always flies away when I show up but this one is working in Collegetown building a new building called 'The Ivy' at the intersection of College and Dryden

A yellow crane rises vertically straight up with a space frame beam supporting a cross beam long in towards the left and with a counterweight towards the right, above a blue sky mostly obscured by a huge cumulus cloud, in the bottom right the very tops of a few buildings are in front of or behind the crane.

Last Monday I parked on Linden Ave and walked up to the campus and saw an something amazing at end of an little alley behind the Breazzano Center so I went to the end of it and got this shot

In the center of the frame a large crane with a yellow space frame mast and boom looks smaller than it really is with the boom pointing towards the lower right with the hook halfway down, to the left there is a beige building in dark shade close to us, at the upper right another building close to us sticks up in a sharp corner also in the shade, and towards the bottom a distance row of brick and pastel buildings is brightly lit and there is roughly a triangle of blue sky in the middle.
