My #creditunion just sent a notification about a big change - once that I am against. But the only way to vote against it - show up to an in-person meeting in a week on the other side of the world.
I've already moved most of my money to another credit union, time to close that account. #coop

I opened an account at a credit union (VanCity) in 2018 as an act of protest against Canadian Big Banks that profit immensely from their investment in fossil fuel infraustrcture.
I guess a few other people did too… they're offering me a whole $75 to encourage others to sign up.
I'll pay them 5 cents to stop harassing me.
