A little dated, (2019) but still an excellent article/study here of global oil supply flows and uses. Informative for perspective on events during the #IranUSAIsraelWar
Charts show flows of crude oil, flows of natural gas, and use by industry of the same.
12-17% of crude oil and natural gas is used for “non-energy” process. (ie. not for burning directly). The other 88-83% is burned. #CO2
