It's hilarious to me how #cycling gear companies sell you on the critical importance of cycling gloves for absorbing shock, and then you watch Paris-Roubaix — 6 hours of hard cobbles — and several of the riders are glove-less. (I mainly wear them to avoid losing skin if I crash.)

A quick video compilation from yesterday's #cycling . Maybe we should do it again and then wear the chest strap for the camera because the views from the #taubenberg were really beautiful (and it's been nice to roll down, too 😉)

The new construction on Lisbon Avenue has a separated bike lane next to the sidewalk.
So which is worse? People walking on the bike lane or people biking on the sidewalk?
(I am hoping they add “bike lane” paint labeling at some point.)
