Pffff. I'm at the stage of decorating where I'm three hours in, two coats down except on that awkward bit of the stairwell I'm going to tackle separately, I'm knackered and it still looks shit! I had this with downstairs last week. The paint isn't the best (let's just say it's not the one I asked for and Dad reckoned he'd got a bargain, hmm) and I know that after a third coat it will look dramatically better, even though it may need a fourth.
