They have some updates scheduled over the next few days on progress towards convincing our government and politicians to build a presence in the Fediverse. It's small contribution towards #DigitalSovereignty by getting our government contacts off of U.S. controlled social media platforms.

Big thanks to @… for having me on his podcast. While I never actually went to Ottawa (though I have visited!), it has been quite a journey since landing on the Fedi in 2022.
The struggle continues to try to get our Canadian politicians to understand that *they* will drive viewers no matter what platform they're on.
Also, I am just one person. There are, thankfully, a whole bunch of people trying to accomplish the same goal!
