A windy day on Holkham Dunes #silentsunday
If I were voting today in D4 I'd rank Jeremy Greco first because he's the only pro–Sunset Dunes candidate and seems cool generally; he's a longtime co-op worker at Other Avenues and wants to make it easier to start co-ops.
I'd rank Natalie Gee second. It sucks she wants to turn the park back into a highway, but so do all the non-Jeremy candidates, and she's the only one I trust to tax the rich to build affordable housing.
I can't believe it's almost been a year since the Open Science Retreat in Switzerland #OSR25CH! Now I am already getting ready to go to the next two.
Two?! Yes.
I will head off to the Netherlands for a Dutch-centered retreat in the dunes and right after I'll continue on to Wales for the Open Science Retreat Global in the wonderful green nature of Wales
The moss and lichen on the dunes at Holkham are always such a pleasure to see. Such variety - every patch is a bit different, and the little spots of colour catch my eye all around. These crusts are crucial to protecting the most stable part of the north Norfolk coast.

We all know the fantasy trope of our hero meeting the aging keeper of some ancient relic essential to the plot.
Today these are the maintainers of production software installations. Or maybe it's more like Teshigahara's Woman in the Dunes 😅
