Public electric vehicle charging stations in America have a bad reputation. They're notorious for breaking down, charging at a snail's pace, refusing customer payment and leaving drivers stranded without juice.

I joined Sohail Hasnie on the Energypreneurs podcast to discuss #EV policy, #V2G, different users, electricity rates, and fundamental changes to planning grids. We also discussed the many benefits of smart electrification (not only cars)!

The Italian 'CIR' is interesting in that it is driven by an effort to enable #EV charging flexibility for various markets by an operator of the user's choice. It defines standard interfaces with the smart meter and the flex operator. But should it be made compulsory, or incentivised?
