AUf ener doppelstöckigen Empore einer Lirche steht eine Orgel, verteilt auf zwei Seiten links und rechts eines runden Fensters. Das Fenster ist mit vier sich überschneidenden kreisrunden Fensterrahmen unterteilt und mit bunten Glasmotiven versehen. Das Licht, das duc hdie Scheibe fällt, läßt die Farben erstrahlen.

from beneath a yew tree looking at the west wall to the right of the tower of a limestone rubble, medieval st.Mary's church. there is an arched window containing three stained glass arches topped with three quatrefoils. that window is slightly misshaped with age. it had quite a few cobwebs too. i done a snap of them too but it was a bit blurry. more blurry than usual. s'pose a could toot it for #shittember. maybe later....

looking sharply up at a limestone arch of a church window with filthy leaded glass, cobwebs with some sycamore seeds stuck in them. posh square section iron support bars look blacksmith made. the horizontal ones have square protruding square eyes for the vertical bars. there was fleur de lis on the tops but not visible from this angle. the church prolly 14 century but this window is victorian.

Das war letzte Woche noch mein morgendlicher Ausblick aus einem Schäferwagen - haben Glamping auf einem Bauernhof im Saarland gemacht. Relativ erholsam war's und gar nicht weit.

Blick durch ein kleines Holzfenster mit Alugriff aus einem Schäferwagen am Morgen. Panorama mit trockenen, hellgrün-strohgelben Wiesen und Wäldchen (Büsche, vorwiegend Laubbäume) links und am Horizont. Hellblauen, wolkenloser Himmel. Um das Fenster die Wand ist wie das Fenster aus hellem Fichtenholz. Das Bild ist liegend in einem Etagenbett (unten) aufgenommen.

Almhütte unter der Hochgrat-Nordseite bei Steibis, Bayern, Allgäu 2015

Almhütte auf einer Wieseim Grünen, dahinter Berghänge mit zum Teil offene Weiden, aber auch mit Baumbestand.

Vor der Hütte ein geteerter Wirtschaftsweg und die Zufahrt zur Hütte. Sie hat an der Stirnseite sechs Fenster mit dunkelgünen Fensterläden und sind in Viertel unterteil. Das Dach der Hütte ist mit grauem Metall gedeckt.

I've always loved this funny little yellow house, hidden in a courtyard at the University of Edinburgh's School of Geography. You can see Portobello and the sea to the left of the building. Wonderful 18th century original case and sash windows (they slide up and down using rope, a counterweight and a pulley!)

looking west through a limestone church porch 2 arch window with no glass, and through the window on opposite side of the porch, also no glass. there is a limestone wall topped with red terracotta tiles under a tree through that far window. this is an old church with parts ranging from 13 to the 17 century. same church as the gargoyle i took a snap of yesterday. the walls are a dark limestone, covered in lots of white lichen.

Former furniture shop (ghost sign) in central Edinburgh. Such a lovely use of the oddly shaped piece of land it's on. Almost all the window panes are the original ones, handmade.

A two storey stone building with a flat roof, squeezed into a small space. There are lots of nice old fashioned small paned windows and a ghost sign that says "HARVEYS FURNITURE STORES". The ground floor is a bistro and is painted forest green.

a four pane window, peeling white painted frame. in an old stone wall. the opening in the wall is a single column of red brick either side. the wall and window is half covered in a dead and brown wall creeper plant. it is in a garage like building next to the gate St Tysiliio church, Ceredigion. i tooted some snaps of some graves and church earlier this week. i might post more. it is a circular graveyard!! ....and there is a stone.....

Quadratisches Fenster mit mittigem Festerkreuz über Tür und Heiligenkasten. Dieser Heilige ist auch hinter Glas, dieses Fenster hat die Form einer Tür mit Rundbogen. Darunter sieht man einen Kasten mit Inschrift "Antoni Silcher - 1864 Antoni-Bräu!", bevor dann die dunkel Tür kommt. Das Haus ist in hellem Lindgrün gestichen, rechts der Türen und Fenster verläuft eine braune Dachrinne von oben nach unten.

Plaza Major, Salamanca, Spain, 2025

Hauptplatz von Slalamanca, der umrandet ist von allen vier Seiten mit einem dreistöckigem Gebäuse. Die drei Geschosse haben jeweils eine dem Innenhof zugewandte Galerie und Fenster. Oben auf dem Gebäuse stehen in regelmäßigen Abständen Statuen. Im Innenhof der Plaza ist Gastronomie und Geschäfte angesiedelt, die man im Wandelgang unter den Rundbögen durchbummeln kann.

east chancel window of a medieval limestone rubble church. looks like the widow has been restored recently. it has a pointy arch with trefoil and three-light arches beneath. it has an bowl shaped ironstone arch that has been filled in beneath the window. it's like a smile, lol. and there is a stone celtic cross on the ridge of the gable end.
