It is said about Maria Lassnig that she was ageless. Wise as a young girl and young at heart as an old woman. A hybrid film about the famous Austrian painter.

One fascinating film trivia I learned recently is that Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze’s marriage from 1999 to 2003 partially inspired Coppola’s 2003 film Lost In Translation and Jonze’s 2013 film Her.
Coincidentally, both films star Scarlett Johansson as the main female protagonist, both films were nominated for the Oscar Best Picture, and both films won the Oscar Best Original Screenplay for Coppola and Jonze.

Mit der Zeit driftet der Film leider etwas ins Esoterische ab, was bei dem Thema auch nicht ganz überraschend ist. Fand ihn trotzdem interessant.
Die Studie, nach der Erbsenpflanzen "hören" (= Geräusche wahrnehmen) können, scheint jedenfalls anerkannt zu sein. Zumindest hab ich mehrere Artikel dazu gefunden.

What an absolutely remarkable film. It somehow completely still holds up. They've done a nice job on the remaster, so it looks fresh.
