@shacker@zirk.usAfter years of people complaining about how outdated the #flickr mobile app was, they finally released a completely new app. Which sounds great, but they released it WAY too early. It’s so buggy that it’s a downgrade over the old one. How can an org of that size have so little QC ?

@xiffy@mastodon.nlI opened my Flickr app on Android and noticed that auto-upload had stopped. When going to the settings I noticed I was unable to re-enable auto uploader. I reported a problem, got an answer within the hour, provided some more information and five minutes later the latest update was pulled. I was told to remove the app and yes re-installing the app gave me the previous version. And i was able to back up my photos again. I'd say, that was fast.
Anyone out there using flickr with auto-uploader enabled, check your settings, it might have stopped anywhere in july.
