For #footpathfriday I'm sharing this one again. It's really one of our most liked trails.
Even though it doesn't gain a lot of elevation, the path along the shore of the lake is all I like:
narrow, pretty nature like, absolutely great views, bends along the shores so that you don't see too far, and mountains all around ... what else would you need 🙂
Höllental ❤️
(Named after the hellish canyon section at the bottom of this most amazing valley, a section with tunnels and waterfalls which made the valley impassible during winter months (even still now) and the only way in & out is via a very narrow path along the rocks higher up...)

For #footpathfriday I'm using this photo!
We went out on a very cloudy day, assumig that we'd also get into rain.
But we didn't want to hold ourselfes back and hike into the clouds. of course, we didn't have epic vistas - but the mood up there was just unique. The limited visibility, the lack of sounds, the dim light.
I really enjoyed that day!
In The Garden Of Eden.
(From one of my favorite hikes last year, October 2025... a place of absolute solitude, harmony, peace and positive vibes, a feast for the eyes)

For #FootpathFriday, I wanted to share this path that I walked a while ago. I didn't meet anyone for a very long time, which is very uncommon, but really a good experience.
This was really a very cool day. I also made a video about that day:
Just returned from a wonderful 11km Friday afternoon walk along the boundary between the seasons...

My today's #footpathFriday is one from the archives. I was really bad prepared that day, but luckily everything turned out well -- and I got this fantastic, dramatic shot!

(latest 8x6" Kallitype print from last night)
This mountain is the tallest peak in the Tannheimer Alps, here seen from a narrow ridge path in the north east. It was a fabulous warm day with so many mountain flowers in full bloom and clouds forming/drifting between the passes and nearby peaks, later developing into a heavy thunderstorm (thankfully only when I was already descending again...)
Sunset walk
Happy #FootpathFriday !
