I have harvested the white elm oyster mushrooms that I am growing in the upstairs bathroom from a kit.
They didn't look quite ready but it seemed like growth had stalled. I gave one a nibble and it was sour, so it might have been getting bacterial in there. Not going to eat this lot.

Ugly mushroom for an ugly week in US politics. We can learn from fungi and mushrooms; they recycle and renew. Rot and destruction create opportunities, for better or worse.
