His story includes the Texas Revolution, a shipwreck, four weeks stranded on an island, and eventually a bakery in Galveston.
Now I'm trying to find the records that will tell me who his parents were, whether he had siblings, and exactly how he arrived in America. #genealogy

#Genealogy question: How far do you build out unrelated people? Wife's GGGF was married 2x. Re the 2d wife: He was her 2d of four husbands, married 3 years. I've got her FindAGrave which seems well built out. Is it worth it to spend much more effort on her beyond that? I feel like no.

It is probably more for an insight into your ancient origins and to be fair does direct you to #FamilyTreeDNA for a full test. If. You are male it might be useful confirming your male cousins if they have also been tested. #genealogy
