A new command-line interface for Google Workspace greases the wheels for personal AI assistants like OpenClaw to tap directly into Workspace documents.

Google Workspace bounced an email to my somebits email address. That stuff just forwards to my gmail account. I've learned two things today:

1. Google's own forwarding of messages breaks DKIM and can cause email to be marked as spam just because of its own forwarding process
2. Google leaked my gmail address in the bounce from the message sent to my somebits address. That's a major privacy violation!

Last month I switched from Google Workspace to proton.me for hosting email for my domains.
It went smoothly, but if you're considering it, here's some things I wish I'd known when I was starting to move my old email.

When you're trying to get #Google to help them fix a problem they have in relaying an email to a list (they are forwarding as if it they are originating your non-GMail email, thus incurring an SPF failure) their helpful support team to the rescue (see image attached).

Finally broke down and turned on Gemini in Google Workspace.
Asked it to format one sheet based off of data in another sheet of the same workbook. It told me it’s not capable of referencing other sheets.
This is the kinda of stuff that would actually save me time. What are we even doing here?

It's been a long, annoying process but: Google Workspace: Deleted.
Backblaze also gone. I shall not miss them.
I still need to figure out a new web host, but my mail is, at least, working.
