a very weathered, pale grey, arch shape gravestone leant up against a stone wall. there is some sort of organic or floral carving at the top. i can only read some of the inscription as follows: " ˀˀ ˀˀ ˀ of John Evans of ˀ ˀ She departed this life ˀ 4th day of April 1779 ˀ The 27 year of her Aˀ ------------------------- Also the Bodies of her two Daughters who ˀ thier infancy "

grave with scull and cross bones memento mori i use underscores for the unreadable weathered parts: "Here lieth ___ of Anne Woodin ___ Mary Woodin who departed this life may ___ aged ___ 1700"

a grave stone with scroll like symmetric spirals on top. moss and lichen. i use underscores for the unreadable weathered parts: "Here lieth ___ body of ______ _____ of Feb__ 1689"

on the left is a small old and rugged gravestone, with large patches of white lichen. the gravestone is next to the graveyard dry stone boundary wall, also with patches of white lichen, the graveyard is on top of a steep and high hill, with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. i can just make out a few ox-eye daisies this side of the wall. and the tops of gorse, over the wall, then beyond that, wide open sea.

a couple of corbels carrying the arches with grim and glum looking carved faces on perpendicular church walls. the church is at least 12th or 13th century. some parts possibly older.

a tombstone i spotted on the floor of the church. most of the inscription is mostly worn away. it bears a carving of a heart ♡ with two arrows shot through in an X shape. And a date "-3 1716" beauty and sadness.
