Hard not to see the wisdom, in the long term, of diversifying Canada’s manufacturing and defence processes. In the short term though, imagine the hissy fit #TheAmericanFascist will have if Carney signs up with Saab instead of more Lockheed.
It would be an act of sovereignty.
