Our first day in the Black Forest unfolded in serene beauty, unfolding a six-hour hike through sun-dappled ridges and mossy streams. Beginning with quiet observation to awaken the photographic eye, we captured unique perspectives of the forest’s textures and light.

Half an hour wait for the next train? Why not walk to the viewing platform in front of #Kłodzko Fortress? You surely won't regret walking all the way up, on these grid gangways and grid fences that make you perfectly aware how high up you are, and with strong wind blowing onto you as soon as you pass the corner.

"And maybe they might use the trail differently. So, for example, Greg is primarily a snowmobiler, but I'm mostly walking and hiking. But we both love the outdoors in the same way."

A bit of #fog today. The first two are unnamed pond near "unused trash yard" near #Kostrzyn in #GreaterPoland. Third's #Iwno #Lake which, against all odds, is in Iwno. Fourth's the Deszczownia Pond (not sure how to translate the name, it's derived from "rain") next to it.

On Saturday, I've visited the #Domaszków-#Tarchalice Polder, and was positively surprised. I kinda expected a wet grassy area, but instead I've found a dense #forest, which apparently hasn't been destroyed by Polish Forestry Service mania of wood harvesting.
Nearest train stop: #Orzeszków. Best reached with transfers in Leszno and Głogów. You can also go straight from Wrocław, but that's boooring.
