Microsoft is winding down The Garage, the 17-year-old program behind its Global Hackathon and employee maker spaces, according to an internal FAQ. Some Garage spaces could be restricted to employees as early as Friday, and Microsoft says the hackathon team is reimagining the event.

For those of you that use WP Engine for hosting, they’ve patched PHP across all of their environments. I’m really happy with the speed of their response.

Another jail on the same machine has 5.6 installed. 99% sure it isn't enabled any more there.

I'm going to assume some #Hosting providers are going to get owned. Lots of them use a billing and/or customer panel that is PHP underneath (e.g., WHMCS). Lots of things (rented servers) that are not themselves directly vulnerable will be adjacent to the threat.

And seeing all the reports from people waiting for their hosting providers to patch the servers their clients’ sites run on (myself included), and with all-inkl.com, the host I moved away from, still down, there’s also something to be said for taking care of some things yourself – and choosing your hosting provider carefully.
