I wish that iNaturalist offered an easy way for an observer to disclose that they have blindly/optimistically accepted the suggested identification even though they have absolutely no idea what the organism actually is. Would be a huge help to people who fix all those incorrect IDs, plus make it easier to craft helpful comments to the observer. A simple tick-box on the upload window would work. #inaturalist #identification #nature #taxonomy #biology
