#Ireland's 1.6% is appaling, given our relative wealth. It ensures our extreme reliance on other states is only likely to increase.
We need a different mindset on spending on R&D and most infrastructure. Housing is the short-term focus, but even if it was solved overnight, this other underspending will block growth and keep us in crisis for the foreseeable future.
