Three little kids from our neighbourhood were selling bracelets (two girls, one boy, just to break any stereotypes) and now I have the coolest wrist (well, I think so anyway) ✨

A rather thin, pale, and hairy arm with three hand-made multicolour plastic bracelets. One has little chains, the other beads and the letters B R A Y and the last litte rings.

My mom gave me this over the weekend and said that she doesn't know if the coins are worth anything but I should bring them home anyways. They are from a trip to #Ireland in 1984 or 1985. I am pretty sure that the bank that this deposit envelope is from hasn't existed since the nineties.
My grandpa sure was OCD. He wrote the conversion between Irish pounds and dollars on the envelope.

The daughter @… came home last night from a semester in Cork, Ireland and she is trying to deal with the fact that it is literally double the temperature today — at 26.6°C — of anything she experienced in the green vistas of windy and misty southern Ireland. 🇮🇪 ☔️ 🍀
(These are firmly first world problems, but her confusion and pale skin is funny nonetheless especially considering Vancouver Island is the “rainy” place of Canada )
