A creek enters from the lower left, goes through the center of the frame, and curves nearly 90 degrees to disappear behind a tall stand of trees. A body of water which isn't that wide at this point with park with trees on the opposite side and an small opening to the lake visible at the center right where a distant hill line is visible, above blue sky and the leaves of I think a willow tree coming in from the upper right, close near the bottom left there is a log or something in the water with I think some birds, and a lot of water plants between that and a small looking wood dock that comes in from the left.

Now walking down the creek in the inaccessible section I was surprised to see beavers making a serious attempt to dam the creek

I'm standing in the middle of a creek and looking downstream towards an exposed bluff covered with trees on the bank to my right (your right) but immediately in front of me is a mess of sticks with green leaves still on them where beavers have been piling them up to make a dam, above it all a blue sky with a big cloud on the left side.

When I got home I realized that I took this on top of the bluff that was pictured in the last photo, you can see that fallen tree to the right of the oxbow and the beaver dam to the left of it

Looking down from a cliff there is a bend in a creek in front of me with a finger of forest sticking into the middle, on the right the stem of tall trees quite close, a fallen tree can be seen to the right of the bend, it's really small but a beaver dam can be seen to the left, the sky is badly blown out but you can't have everything

In front of me is a big fallen tree that's lost all of its bark and is great that bifurcates on the left side, directly behind that is a hill on the side of the creek that's been eroded through and exposes at least 100 feet worth of dirt covered with tall and scraggily trees, to my (and your) right there is a rocky beach, and the sky is mostly blue except for a blown-out white cloud to the right

Railroad tracks converge from about 2/3 the width of the bottom of the frame to the midline where they disappear into a grove of trees; to the right a grass margin, then a road, than a hill which is starting to look light it's about to burst into fall color with a mostly cloudy sky with a few blue patches showing through.

This weekend I went out past Newark Valley to Oakley Corners State Forest which has two fair sized ponds -- this one has an island in it

The lower half of this image is the surface of a still pond reflecting the sky, in the middle there is an island with short light-colored trees, in the distance there's a row of much darker trees, about 3/4 of the way to the right the side of the pond makes the trees form an expanding triangle. A small boat with people fishing can be seen towards the right, close in there is a stick extending into the water, and above it all a fair-weather cumulus blue sky!

Looking up a creek, downstream is to the lower left and it converges towards to upstream towards the vertical center line about 1/3 the way to the right; on the right a close bank of trees, on the left another row of trees, the water looks a little bit brown but it's clear enough to see rocks on the bottoms, quite a few rocks are sticking up, particularly close to where I am.

We are very close to a grassy field maybe six inches high which slopes up from the left to the right, around the center a hedgrerow of mixed trees starts and proceedrs up the hill, to the right there is a low hill covered with trees and a yellow house a little left of center that looks tiny and working to the left an evergreen tree and just a peek of a second yellow house, and above an impressive display of white clouds in a blue sky.
