A small lake/pond in a high alpine landscape of only grasses and talus fields visible. The shallow water in the lake is very dark and reflecting some of the nearby mountain peaks of the surrounding 270 degree cirque. The framing of the image is such that only the reflection of the peaks and some of the clouds are visible.

(Standing roughly where the Hintereisferner glacier reached to in 1850. From here it's another 20 mins to the Hochjoch Hospiz at 2413m... where I was the only soul there that day, enjoying true edge of the world vibes. Wonderful!)

I'm standing in the middle of a shallow spot in the creek with ripples radiating away from my (just barely) unseen legs, to the left is a close outcropping of rock with a flat part that then rises up and gets covered with trees and on the other seen a thin layer of rock is visible and lots of trees, in the center of the frame the path curves out of sight first to the right and then to the left and the sky is mostly white cloud with just a little blue visible.

A creek enters from the lower left, goes through the center of the frame, and curves nearly 90 degrees to disappear behind a tall stand of trees. A few rocks stick out of the creek and both sides have a rocky shore with some short vegetation before the trees on the far (your left) side, the near side (your right) is a not-so-steep cliff with bits of brown dirt and yellow and green vegetation, some trees starting to turn color and past that a bright green field framed with trees on both side…

Looking down from a cliff there is a bend in a creek in front of me with a finger of forest sticking into the middle, on the right the stem of tall trees quite close, a fallen tree can be seen to the right of the bend, it's really small but a beaver dam can be seen to the left, the sky is badly blown out but you can't have everything
