Around 12:45 AM I met the DOT paving crew in Forest Hills, where they were laying asphalt at night so fewer New Yorkers have to commute around workzones.

I'm in central queens, on a residential street. We have two giant mountains of snow outside (like, 8-10ft tall and pretty wide), that came from various plowings/shoveling (the alley next to my house, the fire station's parking lot, etc). A yellow backhoe's front scoop is about to chow down on some of the snow in the smaller pile (which used to be huge)..

I've pestered my Canadian friends about this enough, so I am asking USA and International friends to watch this 3:36 promo for one of the leadership contestants for our "3rd party”: the New Democratic Party.
