So apparently I have a photo whose orientation is stored in EXIF metadata. When I upload it to pol.social, #Mastodon rotates it correctly. When I upload it to treehouse.systems, it comes out wrong.

Does anyone know why Vimium doesn't seem to "click" on the mastodon web interface any more? I don't use mastodon in the browser often enough to know exactly when this changed. In this case, the post was not removed by its author. It's just a Bluesky account that restricts its visibility outside the BSky network, which means it can't be bridged.

Well I guess that's me out. I have a good reason for wanting to be pseudonymous, as do many others here I imagine.
Of course it's every user's right to set whatever conditions they want on who follows them, but a blanket refusal on anyone not featuring a "real name" and a human-appearing avatar feels quite over-sensitive to me.
