a winged skull on a gravestone hidden in some laurels at some churchyard we was nosing around the other day. only the top of the stone is sticking out of the ground. only the words "here lyeth" is visible. rest has been buried over time. a recent sprinkling of gravel has been chucked under the laurels too by the looks of it. it is not as picturesque as the last 2 #tombTuesday #mementoMori photos i posted, but then i suppose if your reading this it ain't gonna matter.

got nowt new for tomb tuesday, so have a grave i photoed last summer instead

a sandstone headstone. carved winged head and winged skull. words have weathered away with time. it was sunny that day. some ivy grows over the gravestone, also what looks like belladonna in bloom in the foreground on the left. dry stone wall in the background.

a skull carved on top of grave stone. the stone has patches of white lichen, a couple of patches above the skull's left eye socket. moss draped over the top of the skull's head that extends like green hair either side on top of the grave stone. trees in the background, one of them in full white blossom
