I had not turned on my meshcore companion since January. But my repeater has been running all along this time.
The map in #Toronto got a hell of a lot busier, the city has much much better coverage now. I even got an advert from Hamilton. Fun times

We recently converted some of our infra-nodes to #meshcore , and now we have connected two (minor) cities in Sweden.
Message delivery is more consistent compared to meshtastic on our case.
The network is growing quite fast here in Sweden, and hopefully we will be able to connect with southern part later this year.

How do you handle custom sensors and modules? In Meshtastic they generally "just work" after setting the pin configuration, but I'm having zero luck. Currently fighting with trying to get a NEO-6M GPS module working with a Heltec V3 radio.

#MeshCore in theory has sensor support, but I didn't have any luck getting my BME280 recognized, so I used a Raspberry Pi instead! It can still respond on the mesh network too.
Next up: installing HomeAssistant to see if it can send environmental data to be logged / stored in a pretty UI.

#RaspberryPi and #MeshCore project coming together. Just need to finish the software and get some smaller cables.
