The president has said he will be “hitting them very hard” if Iranian leaders kill protesters amid widespread demonstrations calling for wholesale changes in the country.

I am just wondering if the US can keep all current military assets in theatre for a longer time, if the next rounds of talks with Iran take weeks/months, or is there some practical limit? In other words is Trump in some hurry to strike or not?
