As I rode my motorcycle down Bender Road yesterday, I saw a heck of a lot of piles of basement refuse. I know that the whole area is in a floodplain. They must have gotten hit pretty hard.

We biked next to a section of the Menomonee River that has a railway bridge over it and you can see the debris left from the flood back in August. Yes, the river was as high as the bridge!
