I love that my campus's first student newspaper, founded from the ashes of an earlier paper in 1974 by a bunch of McLuhan fanatics, was called the Medium II. Why II? Because the official name of the campus radio station, that no one ever used, was the Medium (McLuhan was big at the University of Toronto).
