Hey friends of the #mountains - I almost didn't make it away from my couch today morning. But as you can see, I did!
I spent a couple of hours hiking into the snow. During the ascent I was happy that I left my snow shoes at home. Yet for half an hour or an hour, I really missed them when I sometimes sank in deeper than my knees.

I was already standing at the trailhead. But rain and heavy, wet snow - partnered with high degree of avalanche warning made me turn back home again.

It's been a nice day in the #mountains. Luckily the cleanup bag doesn't come to action a lot on this route any more. Thanks for everybody keeping the trails clean.

My #silentsunday.. I only had a chat with two guys at the summit and one guy a bit below.
Besides that... 4-5h silence. If we don't count the minutes I was following the activities of a woodpecker a couple of meters away from me 😊
It took me really efforts to get out. But - as usual - it was worth it.
