The dove pair that nest in our eaves just successfully raised these two chicks. They were alone on the nest yesterday and were gone today. They raised a single chick on the same nest earlier this year. Very clean, we see the family return every year. #naturephotography #birdphotography

Me waiting for my wife today. We tried a hike today to check how well recovered her knee is. - All went very well. Except that it was a bit warm.
But the views were pretty nice.

Erosion studies from our morning hike yesterday, a ~500m long section of the valley exposing interesting structures and the fragility of life resting on the thin layer of top soil...

#WaterfallWednesday meets #ThrowbackThursday — the view from the narrow bridge inside the stunning/infamous Höllental (Hell's canyon), September 2021, almost to the day... ahhh, memories!

A karst spring cum waterfall gushing from the wall inside a steep and very narrow canyon, viewed from a small bridge ~60m above. The camera then slowly pans upwards, revealing the full vertical depth of the canyon and surrounding valley...
