First weekend of spring, but dreaming of autumn...

A mountain lake with deep green water in front of a steep talus slope and vertical rock face going up hundreds of meters directly behind. The lower parts near the lake are covered in dense bushes of dwarf mountain pines and some larches, all faintly reflected on the lake surface. The beautiful sunny day brings out the autumn colors with some of the larches in bright orange. Semi-overcast blue sky.

Telescopic view of a section of lush and dense mixed forest with trees in various stages of springing back to life: Some in full bloom, some with fresh bright green leaves, others still only bare with old dried leaves from last year glowing in the afternoon sun. A long ridge line leading up to snowy peaks (~3000 meters), getting increasingly rugged and jagged at higher elevations.
