Selten so einen schlechten shop gesehen wie den #nintendo eshop. Ich habe es nicht geschafft win Spiel zu kaufen :(

So, um, I don't remember SMB3 looking like this. Time to pull a 68pF capacitor and check to see if the Everdrive N8 has a firmware update available as I'm about 100% sure this is an MMC3 mapper issue.

Bin noch unentschlossen, was ich nehmen soll.
Wenn man bis heute Abend bei Nintendo oder Amazon bestellt, wird das neue Switch 2 Spiel Donkey Kong Bananza in drei Tagen am Release-Tag geliefert. Es ist allerdings auch 10 Euro teurer als die digitale Version. Dafür kann man sie ggf. weiterverkaufen.

Die neue Nintendo Switch2 ist jetzt seit 3 Wochen auf dem Markt und obwohl sie in der Zeit die erfolgreichste Konsole aller Zeiten ist und inzwischen vermutlich über 5 Mio. verkauft wurden ist sie jetzt lieferbar. Amazon würde sie Morgen verschicken und Mediamarkt bietet einen Lieferung bis zum 08.07.2025 an. Das ist für mich als Logistiker echt beindruckend und sowas schafft sonst nur Apple!

Figured I'd take a photo of the NESessity v1.4 board. Pretty easy to build (this was a while ago as there's now a v1.6 board) and very clean. This one has a real CPU (RP2A03G) and PPU (RP2C02G-0) installed from the OG NES though you can install the clone versions (UA6527 and UA6528 respectively). The VRAM and WRAM are new chips from Alliance.

Throwback to when I upgraded my beaten up purple #GameBoy #Advance case to a new transparent body. I love the orange accents. The screen is a glass lens which gives it a bit more cachet compared to the original plastic one.

Sogar Cyberpunk 2077 von CD Projekt Red soll auf der Nintendo Switch passabel laufen. Ein Spiel mit einer so krassen Grafik auf einem so kleinen Gerät. Das muss ich mir sofort ansehen!

The new new case came in for the NES, fits perfectly. Still waiting on the replacement screw kit to come in along with the NES Slotmaster replacement which fixes the biggest issue with the frontloader. Even better: haven't sheared off any of the screws in the case unlike the previous one.

Okay, had to make a second order of components because we're kinda off the script for hooking up the NESRGB on the NESessity board. Grabbed a 7 pin header for the P1 controller so I can use the controller to change the RGB palette in use as I don't want to use a mechanical switch. Also, I really want to ensure I can remove the NESRGB without desoldering anything.
Also, it's recommended to use a second 5V linear voltage regulator, but I'm going to skip it. The reason it's recommended is that the OG NES frontloader 5V voltage regulator will overheat due to the small heatsink size. On this build, I'm pretty sure the regulator is more than sufficient to dissipate the extra heat...lol
