#Seafile has been removed in #NixOS 25.11 because "upstream only supports docker now", but I didn't want to migrate to docker. Good thing that NixOS 25.11 also introduces an #OpenCloud

Tho... via Limine it doesn't seem to use UKI according to bootctl? How tf does it work then???
I imagine this is less safe than Lanzaboote then, since Lanzaboote makes measured UKIs, is it not possible to use UKI with Limine?

Public, reusable flake with private parts
I am looking for a way to have a public flake that is reusable as inputs in other flakes, but some parts of the flake are private. I think this is a very common thing, people sharing their config, but don’t want to share their secrets of course or some network settings. If those private parts are just plain files, then agenix or sops can be used, encrypted versions of those secrets are published (still kinda meh, but okay). I've been mainly running NixOS, with my spin on Cosmic, for the last week. Had the automated system update this morning. That has been the biggest event happening so far.
This combo, based by me on the Nixbook project, is absolutely rocksolid.
Look for it @ codeberg / thesaigoneer / cosmix-saigon. Kudos to all involved!

I've recently reimplemented hei - my #nix / #nixos command helper in go, which massively improved the auto-complete support. In 0.2.1 I've also added a nice --confirm feature to rebuild, which does a nvd diff against your current system before confirming to switch

I never use a software store; the cli rules for me. The Cosmic Store though adds community made applets for the desktop environment. A couple of days ago I easily added a theme to the repo. This community-contributing aspect is a bit overlooked, but it makes Cosmic stand out.

According to #FreePG right now: #ArchLinux, #Debian, #Fedora, #NixOS and #Ubuntu. Now #Gentoo joins that list, except that instead of silently making intrusive patching on top of GnuPG, we provide it as a separate package (app-crypt/freepg), and mark appropriately:
