No word about electricity and the fact that those GPUs will be trash after 5 years. Wondering who will pay and earn money with it, they didn’t mention a company. But Microsoft has a fat office in Munich…

To me, #Nvidia being worth $5 trillion is another indication that the #AI bubble is real.

Been a few months since I turned my ancient Alienware laptop into a #linux daily drive and so far, mostly, so good; no real complaints.
It has an #nVidia 770M in it, but I've been using the default #Ubuntu Nouveau graphics…

Well, I am complaining about #AI slop introducing some random bugs in a minor userspace project, and in the meantime I learn that #Linux #kernel LTS developers are using AI to backport patches, and creating new vulnerabilities in the process.
Note: the whole thread is quite toxic, so I'd take it with a grain of salt, but still looks like the situation is quite serious.

And apparently this isn't the first time either:
