So, The Core (in no particular order):
1. Slackware with nwg-shell Sway, Niri and Mango
2. Gentoo dwm
3. Aurorix, my KDE container spin.
4. FreeBSD 15 with Mango
5. Slackware Flatbrew, a KDE QT6 experimental iso, with Brew and Flatpaks (thnx @… 😉)
All working superbly.
Contemplating a bootc Cosmic spin 😜

So, I'm getting down to the core:
1. Slackware with nwg-shell Sway and Mango
2. Gentoo dwm
3. Aurorix, my KDE container spin.
All working superbly.
One SSD left. FreeBSD? I think so.

Left: launcher button. Then all my workspaces, even when they're empty. The active windows and on which workspace they are. Playerctl (when you're playing sth). Tools, tray. volume, clock. Showing the nwg-drawer (although I shortcut most applications) Bar at 99%, so it aligns with windows below. Everything can be adjusted very simply, before applying. Nwg-shell rocks!

In all excitement et all I tend to forget how solid nwg-shell on Sway actually is. All frills if you want them, it just works. Foot as terminal is making a strong comeback also. Slackware Tilers has been my main home for 40 days now. Ain't leaving anytime soon.

Anyone for the outdatedness of Slackware?
My Slackware Tilers setup runs Sway, with the nwg-shell. And Mangowc with Noctalia. And Niri with Dank. Hyprland is available, but not installed. And Slackware Current. All from one iso and repository by @… . Smart thing: package sets are linked by symbolic links. Type "slackpkg install dank" and you'll se…

I will get to that dwm on Void, probably the evening before I have to get back to work 🤣 . Gotta say the overall setup (and easy snapshots in zfsbootmanager) is a breath of fresh air.
I do have river up and running on Slackware, but I got happily distracted by Sway and nwg-shell. Now I have my window rules figured out over there i'm gonna stick around a bit. It just works.
