Regarding my “Islands & Continents” map¹ that I posted last February 2025, I double-checked and I actually missed Taiwan which I first visited on a transit stop at TPE airport in 2012. Oops.
So here’s an updated map correcting this oversight.

Take two squares with sides of 46cm. Extrude them to produce two cuboids of height 0.5cm. Join the cuboids along a narrow edge, overlapping by 1cm. What is the surface area of the resulting solid in cm²?
