"Most congregations have a more developed story about their past than about their future. But it is a fact that the times have changed … This calls for greater openness and receptivity to new leaders when they arrive with new perspectives."
—Jeffrey Haggray ’88 M.Div. in an open letter to historic congregations and their pastors, one of many great articles in the new issue of Reflections

Just a photo from a walk near #Peretshofen . For a couple of reasons we didn't do a larger tour that weekend but "just" had a nice walk and I had some good chances of practicing a bit photography in my home area.
Enjoy some flowers :)

Starting the day with going through the #bergwelten magazine once more. Sometimes I wish I'd knew the focal length of the photos.
Later we did two nice walks near #dietramszell and enjoyed spring and the sun. Wrist is also feeling better.
We saw really a lot of cyclists. But …

A serene and picturesque countryside scene unfolds in this image, capturing the tranquil beauty of a rural landscape on a clear day. The foreground features a winding dirt path that cuts through a lush, green field. The path is bordered by vibrant grass and dotted with yellow dandelions, adding a touch of color and natural charm to the scene.
The field stretches out on either side of the path, its verdant expanse creating a sense of openness and tranquility. In the distance, clusters of trees l…

a couple of weeks a go we did a beautiful walk around a village nearby. No mountain, no summit, just a walk that we did a year ago as well.
But what is "usual" for me might not be for others. That's what I'm trying to keep in the back of my mind whenever I'm out and about and think, that a scene probably isn't worth a photo because it's too ... normal to me.
I wrote a bit about our walk:

This image captures a tranquil and inviting scene in a mountainous landscape. The foreground is dominated by a lush, green meadow dotted with vibrant yellow dandelions, adding a splash of color and natural charm. The meadow stretches out, creating a sense of openness and serenity.

A modern bench is positioned on the right side of the image, facing the breathtaking view. The bench, with its sleek design, provides a place for rest and contemplation, inviting viewers to imagine themselves sitting…
