This popped up from today a couple of years ago. Lake District, looking down over the end of Crummock Water. #outdoors #hiking

Looking down over heather moorland to a patchwork of green fields in the valley. Darker fells line the opposite valley side. A glistening lake sits between. The sky is broken cloud and very atmospheric.

A river in a thunderstorm. A single punt is heading into the wind and rain with lots of umbrellas on board. The punter is getting wet and is crouched down to reduce his exposure to the hail that was coming down.
Many punts huddle under a bridge from the driving rain.

We've been #hiking again today! We revisited a route that we did years ago. It was great again, especially as I forgot about a beautiful part of the trail: narrow, a bit exposed. At one part even with an iron rope.
And we were confirmed that it's definitely the time of the year to bring caps, headband and light jackets.
Once the sun is covered by a cloud, it can be pretty chill.
I practiced some new photography style.. Maybe I'll show the results later.
