Hey friends. Also a photo from my hike last Sunday. I came to this hut and tried a counter light. In summer there are usually quite a few people as you can buy some drinks there.
Now.. I had some time to play around with some perspectives. I just liked the silence in the photo. Especially as all others just quickly passed the spot without a lot of notice.

I'm standing in the middle of a shallow spot in the creek with ripples radiating away from my (just barely) unseen legs, to the left is a close outcropping of rock with a flat part that then rises up and gets covered with trees and on the other seen a thin layer of rock is visible and lots of trees, in the center of the frame the path curves out of sight first to the right and then to the left and the sky is mostly white cloud with just a little blue visible.

I haven't been able to get a positive ID on the "sloppy daisies" that grow in Shindagin Hollow State forest but species that look similar are found in Mexico, Hawaii and other places -- these often have missing or irregularly shaped petals

A yellow flower with 6 irregular petals and maybe 1 or 2 missing would have a circumscribed circle fill about 70% of the square frame it is in; it is not quite in perfect focus and shaows of some of its petals can be seen on a green leaf behind it that is really unfocused, the background to the upper right turns from dark purple to light purple as you go down.
