I went out again to shoot squirrels at the A.D. White House Thorsday morning but didn't get any; after 15 minutes settled in my preferred spot one of them scowled at me from behind and then ran over the tops of the branches

I stumbled onto an excellent podcast, Inside Photo Organizing, that has four seasons of tips on how to scan old photo albums, set up backup drives, choose a cloud storage option, share with relatives, sync with genealogy sites, etc. Both hosts (Allison Freedman and Susan Wolak) are nerdy but bring on even nerdier guests. I fancied myself extremely knowledgeable about all the covered topics but it turns out I am only moderately knowledgeable, at best. On our hike last Saturday I wanted to get an ipression of the part of the trail - the problem: the original photo just looked bad - chaos, "bad" light, ...
but I liked the structure and so - converted it to monochrome and was quite surprised to be honest!

Larger photo dump coming later today. I finally found time to go visit McConnells Mill. Absolutely beautiful place tucked away in the Pennsylvania countryside. Lots of hills in this part PA and little gorges cut by dozens of streams. Definitely worth the trip.

My wife has a patch of Bee Balm which I'm planning to camp out at with the right gear on a day with the right light; aka Bergamot this is the scent of Earl Gray tea and I learned the hard way that if I mixed the essential oil with sweet orange the industrial cleaner smell would make me evacuate my office
