I was riding the bus the other day and saw this inflatable rat at a picket line so I got off at the next stop and walked back. Local glaziers contracted to Cornell protest the use of non-union glaziers by an out-of-town construction firm.

Spent the evening cleaning up some old articles on the blog and enjoying some nostalgic memories of my last big bike trip over a decade ago. Came across this photo of the most dangerous obstacle to cyclist safety in Oklahoma (outside of the cars), the dreaded cattle guard.

If you're interested in a print or anything from THIS photo - better be quick. I'll remove it soon.

I've made a nightly habit of spending 20 minutes on glass.photo, exploring the work of my growing network of new friends and finding new ones. Full screen on the 27" monitor, the resolution is fantastic, as is the UX. I've never felt more at home on a photography platform than I do on Glass. There's no algorithm so it takes time to find your groove there, but start participating in the comment threads and man does it pay off.
Hi friends!

After posting a couple of #photos already, I decided to write a blogpost for this chill day in January. - yeah I know - I should write the post upfront and add the link to all the posts - well. I'm a really good marketeer. 😉

A photo hasn't to be crisp and pin sharp. Also the photo can be boring and the location unoccupied. Even location is no must. Oberservational voyeuristic street #photography in the streets of the big city might be easier than in small cities because anonymity is not there, huge busy crowds are not there in empty streets. One can not hide in the crowd averting attention dancing like a

Hey friends, the weather today was awful. Great for processing photos!
That was an icy adventure in January!
Below -16°C! I don't know if I ever was out just to take #photos at such low temperatures. The gear was also a little bit frozen.

The Burros of Boquillas del Carmen, March, 2017
The burros have always been a big part of the experience of Boquillas. When I first attended as a kid in 82 or 83, my parents let me ride a donkey on the trip. My donkey had done the trip so many times, it kept falling asleep while walking and waking with a start and jump.

Hey,
last one of the series. And yesterday I also wrote the blog post for the #photo . We started with the intention of just doing a nice walk and I brought the camera ... just in case I'd see "something".
And I was soo happy that I brought it. I really liked the motive. I might go there early in the morning - could be scenic as well.

Hi friends,
one more photo from our walk on wednesday. This one I was able to capture right when I turned around.
We just came down the path on the photo when I turned around and said to my wife "ohhh wait, think that could be a motive".
And so I started to try a couple of perspectives. I struggled with the path because I feared that it would lead the viewer too quickly out of the image.
Just finished the blog post about my recent photos before getting into the #photos of today's hike.
I REALLY wanted to avoid enlarging my backlog as I know it always adds a subtle little stress to me. And stress must be avoided. Especially as it isn't even a long post. But I'm proud enough of the photos to blog about them! 🙂
Anyways. I hope you enjoy the read!
