Giving those lungs a rest with the Canadian wildfire smoke, so treadmill today. No exciting pics (okay fine, a Mounty truck and a wildfire in the background pic from Canada were added), nice and boring, as a treadmill is 😄 Watched Mr. Robot, and then good tunes for the weights.
I think I may stick inside until Thursday; we'll see how tomorrow goes with AQI.

Last month, I somehow tweaked my knee, resulting in a lasting, radiating pain in my upper tibia, (perhaps the tibialis anterior muscle?) I don’t know what, but while I could tell it was healing, it sure took a long time to fully get there.
I’ve finally been pain-free for about a week and so I’m cautiously optimistic about #Running regularly again.🤞🙏☘️

First run in over a month. No goals other than to clear my mind, enjoy the cooler evening temperatures, feel the breeze and enjoy the rustling of the leaves as the wind stirred the branches, to enjoy looking up at a nearly full moon, and let it all wash over me.

Nice breeze on this one. I haven't "run" errands before on a run, but it worked out. With so much construction around where I live, it is difficult to drive anywhere close without it being worthwhile. A younger woman at the store did a double take, she thought it was too hot to run in this weather. Lol. #running

Too little sleep, too hot, stagnant air with no breeze, and definitely rudely humid. When it became clear what a struggle this would be, I opted to run for HR zones instead. This included several walking breaks to bring my HR back down. My fitness needs the work.
