An interesting interview with a former Canadian General on his recent visit to Ukraine and his impressions of the current state of the #russiaUkraineWar
“ Many Ukrainians argue that Western support has often arrived too slowly. Looking back over the past four years, do you think allies have fully adapted to the realities of this war?
In Canada’s case, I would say no. The support was well-intentioned, but often politicized and disconnected from battlefield realities. Too much emphasis was placed on being seen to provide aid, rather than on delivering capabilities quickly and effectively.”

Very interesting developments in Ukraine. I can only think it is normal for a state that is at war to have very strong opinions within its government.

They live in two different worlds. [DM] Misha wants to digitize everything, to build a system around technology. The military just wants to be heard. They ask for one category of weapons to be procured, and he refuses and funds other areas instead. They’ve simply stopped hearing each other. I can’t allow the Defense Ministry and the General Staff to be at war with each other in a country that’s at war. Ideally, I’d replace them both. But I can’t do that at the same time.”
I just hope they can keep and achieve the goal to push Russia out of Ukraine.

This sounds like a disaster for Ukraine. The USA is about to pump billions into Russia's 2nd most important supplier of drones and parts after China.
This war was just a pissing match to determine who was going to pay whom. Looks like Trump and Israel lost (the only good thing out of this) and now Iran and the USA will be continue silently and not-so-silently do Putin's bidding.
Oh. and the bidding of that other fascist world entity, the Fossil Fuel Industry.

Iran is attacking with its ballistics and some drones… but you also know that it, likely with considerable support from Russia, is probably also developing many more long range drones like Ukraine has.
And that is where it is all going to turn on its head.
Like @… said in his most recent video. The world of warfare has changed forever. Drones are equivalent to the change from horse calvary to tank.
Yet outside of Ukraine and Russia, other militaries have not yet changed their procurement, let alone their force structure, to be prepared to fight wars using drones.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be be a place for conventional Air Force, Tank regiments, and a Navy, but all will have to be done with some lens of drone warfare baked in.
The longer Trump’s idiotic foray with the Israeli Prime Minister lasts, the more likely it is that we see Iran deploy long range drones in massive numbers.
At that point perhaps NATO countries, and other militaries, will truly realize the change that needs to happen.
