In this paper we prove that a free nilpotent group of finite rank is transitive self-similar. In contrast, we prove that a free metabelian group of rank $r \geq 2$ is not transitive self-similar.

We perform broadband ($0.7-100$ keV) spectral analysis of five hard state observations of the low-mass back hole X-ray binary GX~339--4 taken by AstroSat during the rising phase of three outbursts from $2019$ to $2022$. We find that the outburst in 2021 was the only successful/full outburst, while the source was unable to make transition to the soft state during the other two outbursts in 2019 and 2022. In this paper we present the European Low Frequency Survey (ELFS), a project that will enable foregrounds-free measurements of the primordial $B$-mode polarization and a detection of the tensor-to-scalar ratio, $r$, to a level $σ(r) = 0.001$ by measuring the Galactic and extra-galactic emissions in the 5--120\,GHz frequency window.
