These works are stunning. This one in particular struck me.

A statue of a dessicated mostly skeletal human, standing upright. He holds his left hand aloft, and stares up at his hand which contains an indeterminate object (from this angle, in which his body mostly faces the camera) but IMO may represent his heart.

Set aside religion, faith,... and take in the #art and #imagination that produced this simple yet elegant #sculpture (centuries ago) and presentation (today).
Picture I received today of Anantapadmanabha (Wishnu reclining, Brahma in the lotus from his navel, consorts by his feet) in Karkala #India.
