I'm still looking for a messenger that runs self-hosted, supports video calls, and is _not_ Matrix. Basically, XMPP with a better client ecosystem and working video. There must be something out there, right?
UPDATE: I'm testing Nextcloud Talk atm. Seems to be what I was looking for.
