San Francisco's Family Zoning Plan disallows new driveways on certain transit- and pedestrian-priority streets, and asks housing near transit to build less parking.
The YIMBY lawsuit against the city is complaining these rules are constraints on housing production and seeking to overturn them. #sfpol

141.The FZP requires new minimum office densities for many projects.
142.These minimum office densities were not analyzed as a constraint on housing production in the City's housing element.
143.The FZP establishes new caps on dwelling unit size for many projects.

I'm shocked that the mayor who hollowed out our Sunshine Task Force to avoid providing details on his Trump call, has endorsed a sexual predator.
Who could have seen that coming? #sfpol

The real estate industry ("Abundant Network") is doing a whole ad push to lobby the SFBOS to lower the % of affordable homes developers have to include from 15% to 5%.
I thought they had this vote in the bag. Wonder which supervisor they think is wavering. #sfpol

City hall needs to hear from you. Button: Add my name.

Photo of City Hall steps with Myrna Melgar at a lectern, Stephen Sherrill to her right, surrounded by men in hi-vis vests.

The ad is paid for by Abundant Network and captioned: The Board of Supervisors will soon vote to make it easier to build more housing in San Francisco. It's time to take action and show our support.

Finally, a politician willing to say YES to racist slop.
For too long, SF has said no to obviously terrible ideas like this. Vote for change. Vote for Slopp Wiener. #sfpol

A picture of Scott Wiener standing with supporters holding campaign signs headlines a news update as follows:

First in playbook: SO SF - Scott Wiener is adding to the heap of artificial intelligence billboards around San Francisco with one of his own, advertising a new Claude-powered chatbot trained to imitate his congressional campaign opponent, Connie Chan.

The campaign is marketing ConnieChan.ai in the AI-saturated city as "the world's first AI trained to say no to anything you ask," a…
